Nice looking and well built!

We have been using the Escape 1800 on legs for 3 months. It is a very well built & nice looking stove. If we load it with dry pine at night the stove will burn very hot for 5 hours & be out in the morning partly due to our 26 ft long chimney! The stove does burn very clean & is easy to start, just have to leave the door slightly cracked for 5-10 minutes. If you need a stove to burn through the night this might not be the one. Our house is 1800 sq ft & it heats it no problem yet, but it has only got to -10 c so far. The glass stays nice & clean which is good. The only one drawback so far is every time you open the door, ash tends to fall out because of the design of the firebox not being deep at the door. It is a beautiful stove and hope it lasts a while!
