I bought this to replace a Vermont Castings Resolute, I am so glad I did, it is not as pretty as my wife complained, but once I fired it up and our house was so toasty all day and all night she changed her tune. She loves it now. It burns so easily, the throttle so simple and effective, the built in blower is very effective, my house has never been this warm. The hollow tubes along the top of the burn chamber certainly help squeeze every BTU out the wood, even the ashes seem different, like fine powder. It burns so completely the ash generation has gone down dramatically. They did their homework designing this stove. I really like it, it works really well.
